Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and mop offer the convenience of removing dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet mess (spills or stains) in one time without having to swap out devices. They can also help save storage space compared to having two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models with docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, refill their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer at a modest price, and it's one of the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and an easy-to-follow guide will have you up and running with a clean, full dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in no time.
The S1 Pro is a powerful little machine that mops up a storm and also vacuums well. The mops are spun at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a variety of attachments and brushes, and a user-friendly application that lets you choose the exact kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
You can, for example request the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. auto vacuum cleaner can detect small obstacles that other models can't. The only issue it has is that it can hit objects and walls at full speed. However, an instant glance at the cleaning history in the app tells you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading, and which obstacles it's run into or avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station shows you when maintenance tasks must be completed like emptying the debris tray and washing the water tank that is dirty. It's also capable of mixing detergent automatically into the water tank, using a 600ml bottle of eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can run for 136 minutes in standard mode, before having to recharge or returning to the base. The app is simple to use and intuitive, allowing you to see all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum, is the most recent version. Unlike last year's model it comes with an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which significantly improves its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to pull up small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners may be unable to pick up.
The Roborock model, just like the other two I tested is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it avoid obstacles such as walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating two cameras that can recognize objects, determining whether they're walls or other surfaces. It then can alter its course automatically and clean around them without missing a step.
It's the most expensive model I've tested, but it also has the most features. Its sleek, angular design is attractive and it only has three physical buttons which include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to send the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank self-empties, and the bin is auto-filling.
The only issue I encountered to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's not easy to remove the mount to wash it manually. I've found that any plush carpet that the robot passes will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life and component maintenance. You'll have to go through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive available and comes with a lot of extra features that distinguish it from. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly than the conventional method, and has the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also clean pet hair, small dirt particles and pick up spills and dirty spots.
The mop is also cleaned and dried inside the base station after every use. This feature is great because it stops mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature has yet to be seen on other robot vacuum and mop models and could be a useful method of keeping your home cleaner for longer.
There are many options, including the option to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. These can be set via the app or there are buttons that can be found on the unit itself. The app is easy to use and offers many options to customize the cleaning process, and there are numerous features that other robots do not include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles instead of relying on the manual setting.

automated vacuum cleaner is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen in the market, sporting metallic and white design that looks elegant and classy. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this listing however it's not excessively heavy. It is solid and well-built. Mopping is well-designed and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors or in corners. They can even extend to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice touch.
